Food on Farm Pickles was born out of a simple belief — that the best food comes from honest ingredients, traditional methods, and a whole lot of love.
We are Food on Farm Pickles, based in the heart of Andhra Pradesh. Every jar we make carries the flavours of a region known for its bold, fiery, and deeply satisfying cuisine.
The Man Behind the Pickles
Chef Murala Venkatesh brings over 40 years of culinary experience rooted in the villages of Andhra Pradesh. Growing up in Kolluru, he learned to cook the way generations before him did — outdoors, with farm-fresh ingredients, cold-pressed oils, and spices ground by hand.
In 2021, he took those same recipes to YouTube under the Food on Farm channel — cooking in nature, sharing traditional Andhra dishes the way they were always meant to be made. The response was overwhelming. Today, the channel has grown to over 2.46 million subscribers, with a combined following of 3.9 million across YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
The pickles you saw being made on screen? People wanted them in their homes. So in 2023, Food on Farm Pickles was born.
What Makes Our Pickles Different
Most pickles on store shelves are made with artificial preservatives, refined oils, and shortcuts that trade flavour for shelf life. We do things differently.
Every jar at Food on Farm is handcrafted in small batches using age-old Andhra recipes. We source vegetables, raw mangoes, and spices directly from farms. We use only cold-pressed oils. We add zero artificial preservatives — ever. The result is a pickle that tastes the way your grandmother's used to.
